Did anyone think Sidney Crosby would make such an outstanding return after playing for the first time in nearly 11 months? The Pittsburgh Penguins Captain's return to the NHL has made a huge impact on the game, almost as great an impact as the concussion he attained during the 2011 Winter Classic. Crosby was named the NHL's first star this week after earning 9 points (2-7) in his first 4 games back in the league. There was no adjusting for Crosby as he picked up right where he left off before his injury. Upon his return to the game against the Islanders on Nov.21, it took him just over 5 minutes to score his first returning goal with a classic backhand, earning 2 goals and 2 assists that night. It's clear that Crosby doesn't plan on wasting anytime and is jumping right back into the game, helping his team swiftly move up in the standings. His much anticipated return was a night to remember making headlines everywhere, leaving us to ask the question, will he continue to play and perform like a superstar for the rest of the season? I personally think so! What are you opinions?
